What the Body Knows — A Women’s Retreat in Hunza
Package Price: ₨265,000 – ₨308,000
Facilitated by Rabbia Aamir & Saman Ghani Khan
Spend five nights at Silk Route Lodge, Hunza, for a retreat built around a simple idea: your own body and the mountains around you do the deep work.
We are there to hold that space safely, not to fill it.
Because how you hold tension shapes how you think—and healing one supports the other—we have brought together a physiotherapist and a life coach. So whatever comes up, physical or emotional, there is someone there to meet you fully.
Deliberately, the itinerary is light:
- Nature hikes
- Shared meals
- Wholesome conversations
- Simple lessons in understanding the language of your body
You will leave with real tools to hear your own body first, not last.
Who This Is For
This retreat is designed for women who:
- Feel physically disconnected from their own bodies.
- Are craving real space to think.
- Want to return home with more than just a pleasant holiday.
- Want practical tools they can carry forward into everyday life.
What Guests Leave With
Every element of the retreat is designed in service of four outcomes:
1. Better Connection With Your Body
Learning to notice your body instead of simply moving through it.
2. Foundational Understanding of Physical Wellness
Gain a deeper understanding of physical wellness and the nervous system.
3. A Sustainable Starting Point for Physical Wellness
Build habits that support healthy aging through the seasons and years ahead—not through rigid plans, but through gradual growth in your body’s capacity and trust in what it is telling you.
4. Feeling Less Stuck
Leave with a practical toolkit for listening to your own body first, not last.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I’ve never done anything like this before—coaching, physiotherapy, or retreats?
That’s exactly who this retreat is for.
You don’t need any prior experience with somatic work, coaching, or retreats.
The whole premise is that your body already knows how to communicate. This retreat is simply about learning to notice—not learning an entirely new skill.
The facilitators are trauma-informed and create a safe, supportive environment for everyone.
Do I need to have “trauma” to attend?
No.
It simply helps to broaden what the word trauma means.
Trauma isn’t limited to major life events. It can also be:
- An injury
- A difficult year
- A significant loss
- Chronic stress
- Years of carrying expectations within your body
Everybody carries some version of that story.
Being trauma-informed means creating space that respects the body’s adaptations and experiences without judgment.
Is this a fitness retreat?
No.
This is a healing retreat, not a fitness retreat.
There are:
- No performance goals
- No endurance challenges
- No pressure to keep up
Movement is gentle, adaptable, and paced according to the group.
If you’re living with persistent pain, recovering from an injury, or simply feeling disconnected from your body, this retreat was created with you in mind.
