What Your Days Might Look Like

Day Experience – Orchard Writing Circle

Morning writing sessions and guided conversations at Silk Route Lodge, followed by shared meals in local homes and afternoon writing huddles in the orchards of Gulmit.

Slow evenings. Quiet reflection. Stargazing beneath mountain skies.

Day Experience – Writing in the Wild

Drive into the mountains with packed lunches before hiking to a quiet mountainside meadow for uninterrupted writing and solitude.

Evenings are spent wandering local villages, gathering around bonfires, sharing stories, songs, and works-in-progress.

Note: Transport to the lodge and back is not included but we will support the participants with all the logistics-related arrangements.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDs

 Cancellation by Participant:

• More than 1 month before the retreat start date – 75% of the full amount will be refunded.
• Within 1 month of the retreat start date – 25% of the full amount will be refunded.
• All refunds will be processed 10 days after the retreat end date.
• Exchange risk is to be borne by the participants and the Rupee amount will be transferred at the prevalent exchange rate.

Other Factors:

• In case of flight cancellation to Skardu airport or trip cancellation due to road blockage, you will be issued a Credit Note of 75% which can be utilized for any of the upcoming retreats in the season.
• The organizers do not assume responsibility for any travel delays or cancellations where flight is through Gilgit airport.
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), the organizers commit to taking the best course of action, as allowed by the circumstances.
